S.I.T

Messaggi raccomandati

ecco qualcosa di più su quel dottore a cui facevo riferimento in uno dei miei post precedenti sulla HairMultiplication.

S.I.T.- Scalp Impregnation Therapy

Another invention being now in volunteer patient trials in Dr.Carl Bazan's Labs, is the promising S.I.T. technology (scalp impregnation therapy). S.I.T. is a proprietary new hair restoration technology where through a very complex and ingenious follicular-papilla manipulation and concentration, we have been able to auto-impregnate a bald dermis area of a volunteer with viable 'p-fol1' and 'p-fol1' type cell isolations and clusters, and observe successful hair growth. This breakthrough technology may very well render hair transplantation obsolete (in selected cases) in a few years if successful improvements can be made to address the actual inconveniences. We had seen initial mitotic activity in vitro a few years ago, but now are starting to asses growth activity 'in vivo'. If this can be repeated, we may launch a wider protocol to fine tune this lengthy and highly complex procedure. Scalp impregnation came as an idea for hair restoration as Dr.Bazan was working in his lab attempting melanocyte impregnation for vitiligo patients. Scalp impregnation may be in a near future an interesting resource for some selected types of non-scarring alopecias. Originally developed for "crown" / "vertex" areas is now being tested for facial hair (beard), eyelashes, and frontal scalp hair

ah, ed ecco un link..

This reseach was initiated on 3/1999, after observations and protocol design made by Dr.Bazan. Initial experimental trials/lab work shows repeatable results in measurable healthy anagenic terminal hair, 6 months after experimentally impregnating bald areas of crown scalp in otherwise healthy men with manipulated autologous p-fol1 and p-fol2 papillar cells.

The multi-step and very complex manipulation and serum preparation method takes about 5 to 7 days pre-impregnation, for a calculated 8,000 to 12,000 hair "single injection".

The impregnation phase takes just 15 minutes in a steril and painless protocol. Growth takes 4 to 6 months and hair obtained is expected to have the same quality, character and longevity of the donor hair. We have resolved issues like depth, orientation, inclussions, demographics per sqcm, and distribution. Multi-protocolar cell cultivation for multiplication of available "impregnable"cells is currently underway. This therapy aim in avoiding long, extenuating hair planting procedures, multiple scalp incisions, scabs, scarring, cost and downtime associated with today's hair transplantation.

This is an announcement of an innovation currently entering patient trials. All follow up information and publication will be supported by secuential pathology reports of all volunters. Request for individual reporting should be addressed to www.itzan.com (go to Research link, then on Reporting) No useful Research Data is available for examination yet, for obvious reasons. Dr.Carl August Bazan, M.D. Dr. Eduardo Poletti, M.D.
