Thank you for sending your photos to Hasson & Wong. Dr. Hasson has reviewed your case and feels that it is difficult to assess your situation with photos. The scarring is less than ideal and it may interfere with the procedure. One procedure may not be enough to finish the process but we cannot give specifics. He'd like to do as much as possible in one session for you and he knows he can improve your situation. He may need to address the hair first and get as many grafts as he can, 2500 to 3500, and then have you come back to address the scars. Does this make sense to you? Let me know what questions you have.

Immaginavo la risposta, con le solo foto è difficile valutare la mia situazione.

 

Se ho ben capito Hasson mi propone una sessione di 2500-3500 graft ( mi dovrebbero aprire la testa da una parte altra per trovare tutte queste graft), successivamente di ritornare per ridurre la cicatrice.

La risposta della clinica di Cole:

 

 

 

Thank you for your interest in Dr. Cole.

 

I have seen that you have had some trouble with your hair transplants.

 

Your photos concentrate on you donor area so I will pay more attention to

this area.

 

By doing more corrective surgery in the content of removing scars by cutting

them and removing them will not work to your satisfaction. You can never

remove a scar this way because a new scar will be created, sometimes

smaller, sometimes the same and even sometimes bigger. This depends on many

factors but is your case this procedure have not and will not work.

 

The only thing you can do is to cover the scars by transplanting grafts on

them. The way that these grafts will be extracted must be such that will not

leave any new visible scars. The only way to do that is by FIT.

So what we could do for you is to extract FIT grafts and place them on the

existing scars.

 

The results on scar tissue are not guaranteed but we have had some good

results. For example You can see a test 60 FIT grafts we did on a bad scar

on September 2003 in www.hairloss.com.cy in the front page.

 

I can not evaluate the results of your HT in the recipient area because in

order to do that I would need before and after photos and close-ups of the

results.

Mah Blu, secondo me devi specificare ad hasson che non ti intressa un nuovo trapianto (se ho capito bene) e chidergli info solo sulla riduzione della cicactrice..

 

l'idea della fue sulla cicatrice non mi pare da scartare.. l'ideale sarebbe provare a vedere con pochi graft, se su di te attechiscono bene, e se si, fare una sessione piu ampia.. in questo caso però dovresti farti almeno due giri...
