Dottor gigli ieri parlando con il dottor campo lui mi ha detto che c'è un nuovo farmaco sperimentale che funziona veramente per il nostro problema(A.A),mi anche detto che questo farmaco ancora nn è uscito perchè fà parte di una famiglia di farmaci che potrebbero provocare il cancro,quindi ci vuole un po' di tempo per capire prima come agisce,lei conosce il nome di questo farmaco????

Mi ha detto il nome della sostanza,pero nn mi ricordo il nome.Cmq ricordo che mi ha detto che ci sono tre grandi studi scientifici che studiano questo farmaco,che sono:Un in giappone ,uno in america e uno in francia mi sembra!!

no si tratta dell'Adenosina che è già acquistabile online col nome commerciale di Adenogen ti allego l'articolo in inglese. logicamente si tratta di un 'cosmetico' niente di piu' dell'Aminexil. la solita storia. la casa farmaceutica è la Shiseydo molto nota per le creme un po come la Dercoss per gli shampo. metto il link del prodotto alla fine.

 

Tokyo (JCNN) - Leading Japanese cosmetic manufacturer Shiseido (TSE: 4911) announced December 1 that it has discovered a hair-growth property of adenosine, one of the in vivo substances that exist in the human body.

 

The company's research shows that adenosine directly affects hair papillae, a key in hair production; consequently, the output of FGF-7, a hair-growth factor, is increased.

 

Based on this discovery, Shiseido has developed an innovative hair-growth substance, Adenosine, and has received approval as an active ingredient for medicated cosmetics from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

 

The company plans to launch Adenogen, a hair-growth product for male-pattern baldness, on March 21, 2005.

 

A RANDOMIZED TRIAL OF ADENOSINE IN ANDROGENETIC ALOPECIA

Objective: Adenosine up-regulates the expression of fibroblast growth factor 7 (FGF7) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on cultured dermal papilla cells via adenosine receptors. We therefore speculated that adenosine stimulates growth of hair fiber due to the action of FGF7 and VEGF for epithelial cells in hair follicles. In this study,we performed a clinical trial to investigate the efficacy and safety of adenosine in hairloss associated with androgenetic alopecia (AGA).

 

Methods: Ahundred and four volunteers with AGAwere registered In a randomized double-blind trial that used an adenosine (0.7S%) topical lotion or niacin amide (0.1%)topical lotion twice daily for 6 months. Efficacy was evaluated by investigator assessments of change in global scalp coverage, change in the ratio of veilus-like(under 40 micrometers in diameter) and thick hairs (not less 60 micrometers or 80 micrometers in diameter), and hair density, in vertex.

 

Results: Fifty-one of 52 adenosine-treated subjects and 50 of 52 niacin amide-treated subjects completed the 6-month study. For global improvement, adenosine was significantly superior to niacin amide. Treatment with either lotion resulted in a significantlydecreased ratio of vellus- like hair and also significantly increased the ratio of thick hair, but did not change hair density. Regarding the Increase in the ratio of thick hair, adenosine was significantly superior to niacin amide. Adverse effects were not found.

 

Conclusion: In men with AGA,adenosine increased hair growth and thickened vellus-like hair without side effects. It would appear that the efficacy of hair growth results from the effects of FGF7 and VEGF which are stimulated by activation of adenosine receptors on dermal papilla cells.

 

per mia opinione ogni qualvolta un farmaco si dice effecace e non ha side effects allora non funziona! nella storia della medicina tutti i farmaci che funzionano per una patologia hanno sempre degli effetti collaterali.

Nel sito del dottor campo parla di Epm,pero io mi ricordo che si chiamava diversamente,puo essere EPM???
