Here is some great news that many of you have been waiting for. Body Hair Transplantation (BHT) has taken large strides towards becoming a hair restoration mainstream procedure. We have been following a patient that I performed a mega session of body hair to scalp on 14 months ago. Although body hair is considered to take 2-3 years before seeing major results due to the slower cycling process, that is not the case with this individual. I will also continue to explore new possibilities with hair multiplication in the year of 2005. All I can say at this time is that we are making progress with this. This study needs to be in-depth and evaluated deeply as I do when developing all of my new techniques and methods.

On another note….. Comparative results between patients are typically assessed by the number of grafts transferred. Other times they involve the density of grafts in the recipient area. In fact, we know that individual hair characteristics are not the same. Therefore, traditional methods of assessment are flawed by these inaccurate assumptions and therefore, we impugn them. We all know that individual hair characteristics more precisely predict coverage. Not withstanding, a standardized method to evaluate results based on a more precise method of predictive values is essential. We feel that measurement of Hair Mass Transferred (HMT) for each surgery is indicated and offer a method to measure this value. Furthermore, HMT allows us to evaluate the efficiency of our procedure at multiple levels, the time of surgery, and at the time of the final result.

It has been a wonderful and exciting year at IHTI. Dr. Cole’s Body Hair results have been incredible, and his FIT results continue to be on the cutting edge. In fact, we are about to see another huge advancement in Dr. Cole’s pioneering technology in the year 2005 as he finalizes implementation of new instruments for FIT that he has created. That’s not all – Dr. Cole is working on a new cutting edge ‘prototype’ of a device that will further revolutionize hair transplantation. Talk about exciting!

Il concetto semplificato della mail è che visti i sorprendenti risultati su di un individuo trapiantato da Cole con body hairs dopo 14 mesi tutta la comunità è eccitata dal successo dell'innovazione.

In poche parole diventa quasi definitivo che non importa più che uno sia norwood 7 o 8!!, ma è che volendo, allo stato attuale delle cose, se hai 50/60 mila da investire sui capelli in un modo o nell'altro il problema puoi risolverlo definitivamente, sennò amen..... :60:

Perciò basta con la finasteride e iniziamo a risparmiare :lol:

Ecco alcune importanti notizie che molti di voi stanno aspettando. La Body Hair Transplantation (BHT) ha fatto numerosi passi avanti verso la sua definitiva conferma quale principale procedura per il recupero dei capelli. Abbiamo seguito l'evoluzione di un paziente sul quale ho effettuato una megasession dal corpo allo scalpo 14 mesi fa. Sebbene si pensi che i peli corporei necessitino di un periodo di almeno 2 o 3 anni prima che possano offrire apprezzabili risultati, a causa del ciclo più lungo, non è stato questo il caso.

In 14 mesi abbiamo verificato una significativa ricrescita ed una eccezionale copertura. Questi risultati hanno già avuto un pesante impatto sull'intera comunità on-line che si interessa di problemi legati al recupero dei capelli. Potete seguire i progressi di questo paziente sul nostro sito web.

 

BHT è la nuova, pioneristica, tecnica. Una reale soluzione alla perdita dei capelli che estende la disponibilità pilifera all'intero corpo. Il paziente ha subito l'intervento 14 mesi or sono e la trasformazione è fenomenale. Verificate voi stessi la storia (n.d.r ... credo avrebbe dovuto esserci un link)

 

Io continuero' comunque a cercare nuove possibilità offerte dalla hair-multiplication per tutto il 2005. Tutto quello che posso dire è che stiamo facendo progressi con questo (n.d.r. forse intende dire che i risultati offerti dalla BHT sono molto più incoraggianti di quelli offerti dalla HM).

Questi studi necessitano ancora di profonde valutazioni come del resto sempre faccio quando sviluppo nuove tecniche e metodi.

 

Un'altra nota ... I risultati comparativi tra i diversi pazienti si basano principlamente sul numero di grafts trasferite. Altre volte si considera la densità delle grafts nell'area ricevente. Sappiamo infatti che le caratteristiche individuali non sono le stesse. Ne consegue che i metodi tradizionali di valutazione sono inficiati da questi presupposti errati e, per questo motivo, li contestiamo.

Sappiamo tutti che le caratteristiche individuali dei capelli portano ad una più precisa previsione della copertura.

Evitare di trovare un metodo standardizzato per la valutazione di risultati che si basino sulla misurazione di valori esatti è essenziale.

Pensiamo che la misurazione della Massa di capelli trasferita (HMT) per ogni intervento costituisca un parametro indicato e offre un metodo per la misurazione

di questo valore. Inoltre l'HMT ci permette di valutare l'efficienza della nostra procedura a diversi stadi, dal momento dell'intervento fono al raggiungiungimento del risultato finale.

E' stato un anno meraviglioso ed eccitante qui alla IHTI. I risultati ottenuti dal Dr. Cole con la BHT sono stati incredibili e la sua tecnica FIT continua ad essere all'avanguardia. In fatti siamo in procinto di assistere a nuovi, consistenti, avanzamenti nella tecnologia pioneristica del Dr. Cole, quando, durante il 2005, lo stesso Dr. Cole metterà a punto i nuovi strumenti per la FIT che lui stesso ha creato. E non è tutto - il Dr. Cole sta lavorando su un nuovo prototipo di strumento che rivoluzionerà ulteriormente i trapianti di capelli.
