Hello to my Italian friends, I would like to first say thank you very much to all of the support that you have given to Hasson & Wong. We have made several good friends among you and we look forward to making more friends from Italy. I regret not having posted here earlier but I do not speak any Italian, except "ciao bella", LOL. I will try to post here more often with the help of some of my Italian friends. Hasson & Wong has experienced much growth over the past three years. Dr. Hasson and Dr. Wong have been getting very busy. Over the past three years our prices have remained unchanged however while increased business means increased revenues it also means increased costs. We have been absorbing these costs over the past three years with no increase to the patient. Also, with the increasing number of grafts that we have been able to harvest for our patients our time in the office has substantially increased. This has been putting a heavy burden on our excellent technicians. Because of this we have had to limit our surgeries to one per day for Dr. Hasson and one per day for Dr. Wong. Occassionally we will have small second surgeries but this is now rare. As I understand it there has been some confusion regarding our new prices. Some of you that have already booked a procedure have thought that the new fees apply to you. They do not. Because of this confusion which we apologize for Hasson & Wong will extend the old price to July 1, 2004. Any patient that submits for consultation via email before July 1, 2004 will be quoted the old price of 5.00 CDN for the first 1500 grafts then 2.50 CDN for each extra graft. The travel reimbursment will be for half of your airfare up to 400.00 CDN and as always you wll be able to stay for two nights on us at the Granville Island Hotel. If your consultation is started before July 1, 2004 then you have till January 1, 2005 to take advantage of the old price. If you submit your consultation AFTER July 1, 2004 then the new pricing goes into effect immediately. The new pricing will be 4.50 US per graft up to 2000 grafts then 2.50 US for each extra graft. Your travel reimbursment will be up to 400.00 US and the same hotel stay is still included. I wish to stress to you all that the decision to increase our fees was not an easy one and we did not do so lightly. We simply could not afford not to.
