Following the recent alarms on the forum regarding the potential harmful effects of some ingredients in Mity Tite and Ultra Hold, I have asked the cream maker to list the specific ingredients and they are sending the list soon. I have already been assured that there are no questionable chemicals in the adhesive though and it is supposed to be the least dangerous glue available anywhere.

The daily use of adhesives and solvents on the skin has not been officially studied for any long term health risks but it should be known that a small minority of people are sensitive to the chemicals found in various adhesive products and solvents. It is possible that using these products year after year on a daily basis could have some negative effect on any user's health. Until proper scientific studies have been conducted we all use these products at our own risk, and look absolutely fabulous as we do so.

Even the use of plain alcohol, the main ingredient in Lace Release, or plain mineral oil and citrus oil, the main ingredients in Adhesive Remover can have potentially adverse effects on the skin and our health in the long term. Wearing a hairpiece and using any adhesive or solvent is not natural and exposes us to chemicals.

 

 

 

I was not aware until today that toluene and methyl-methacrylate were so potentially harmful. There is nothing like that in the cream adhesive, but I do not have the ingredients list yet

I will let you know when I get an ingredients list for the cream, but meanwhile, don't worry about it.

è anche vero però che portare una protesi non è naturale per la nostra pelle(in un certo senso è come portare un corpo estraneo).

Però dobbiamo trovare la via giusta per far si di diventare un tutt'uno con essa senza rimetterci la salute...

caro ale,allora se porti le mutande non è naturale p se porti la dentiera non è naturale?ma non fatemi ridere ,questi sono degli ******* che ci vendono cose pericolose per guadagnare 4 dollari in più
